TLDR ⚡
What is 80/20? Created by LOGO.com, every issue shares AI prompts for work, money, and everyday life where AI does 80% of the work so you only do the 20% that matters.
A menu and a time, and the whole dinner scheduled backward
A photo of a sad plant, and what it actually needs
The person who has everything, and five gifts they will use
The line that makes AI check its own work
MAKE HOSTING EASIER 🍂
Host the big dinner without the 4pm panic
Everyone is coming to yours this year. There is one oven, four dishes that all want it at once, and a turkey that needs hours.
Your menu and the time you want to eat. Paste this with them filled in:
"I am hosting [number] people for [meal] and want to eat at [time]. Here is my menu: [dishes]. My kitchen has [one oven, two burners, a slow cooker]. Make a cooking schedule that works backward from when we eat, with what goes in the oven and when, and what I can make the day before. Point out any two dishes that need the oven at the same time and how to solve it. Keep it to one page."
Model: ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. Tape the finished schedule inside a cupboard door so it stays with you in the kitchen.

MAKE HOUSEPLANTS EASIER 🪴
Save the plant before it is too late
The leaves are turning yellow, the soil is either soaked or dusty, and you have tried more water and less water in the same week.
One photo of the whole plant and one close up of a leaf. Paste this with both attached:
"Here is my plant and a close up of one leaf. Tell me what plant it is, the most likely reason it looks like this, and what to change this week. It lives [by a sunny window, in a dark corner, near a heater], so tell me how often to water it there. Keep it to five steps or fewer. If you are not sure what plant it is, say so instead of guessing."
Model: ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude. All three can read a photo. Take it in daylight so the leaf color is true.

MAKE GIFT LISTS EASIER 🎁
Find a gift for the person who has everything
Every year there is one name on the list you dread. Your dad says he wants nothing, and last year's gift is still in its box.
Three things you know about them and your budget. Paste this with them filled in:
"Help me find a gift for my [relationship], who is [age] and loves [three things they enjoy]. My budget is [amount]. They already have [things to avoid]. Suggest five gifts they would actually use, with at least two that are an experience or something they can eat or drink. Give one line on why each one fits them. Skip anything generic like mugs or socks."
Model: ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude. Turn on web search if you want links and current prices.

MAKE SUBSCRIPTIONS EASIER 💳
Find the subscriptions you forgot you pay for
A free trial from March, an app you opened once, a membership that renewed while you were not looking. They are small, so they hide.
Your last two or three bank or card statements. Paste this with them attached:
"Here are my last [number] months of bank and card statements. List every charge that repeats, with the name, the amount, and how often it comes out. Add up what they cost per month and per year. Mark any that look like duplicates or free trials that turned paid. Then tell me the quickest way to cancel the ones I choose. If you cannot read a charge, list it separately instead of guessing."
Model: Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini. All three read PDFs and screenshots. Cover your account numbers before you upload.

MAKE DOUBLE CHECKING EASIER 🔁
Make AI check its own work
It sounds so sure. Then you spot a wrong date or a total that does not add up, and you start to wonder what else slipped past.
Paste this right after any answer you plan to use:
"Now check your last answer like a strict editor. List anything that might be wrong, out of date, or a guess, and how sure you are about each one. Redo any math step by step. Then give me the corrected answer and mark what changed."
Model: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Copilot. It works anywhere. For anything important, still check the key facts yourself.

Rule of thumb: The more an answer matters, the more it is worth one extra paste.
