TLDR ⚡
What is 80/20? Created by LOGO.com, every issue shares AI prompts for work, money, and everyday life where AI does 80% of the work so you only do the 20% that matters.
One prompt, and a packing list that fits on one screen
A photo of a sad plant, and what to do today
Your phone bill, with every sneaky charge flagged
The line that stops AI telling you what you want to hear
MAKE PACKING EASIER 🧳
Pack once and forget nothing
It is 11pm, the suitcase is open on the bed, and you are packing from memory again. Something always gets left behind, and it is usually the phone charger.
Tell it where, when, and who is coming. Paste this:
"I am packing for [number] days in [place] from [dates] for [who is going, with ages]. Check the usual weather there for those dates. Write one packing list grouped by bag, carry on first. Count the outfits for me, add the things people forget like chargers and medicine, and keep the whole list short enough to fit on one phone screen."
Model: ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude. Switch on search and it checks the real forecast instead of guessing.

MAKE PLANT CARE EASIER 🌿
Save the plant before it is too late
The leaves are going yellow, you have tried more water and less water, and the internet has twelve opinions. Meanwhile the plant keeps drooping.
One close photo of the leaves and one of the pot. Paste this with both attached:
"Here are photos of my [plant name, or say you do not know]. It has been [what you have noticed] for [how long]. It sits [where it lives and how much light it gets] and I water it [how often]. Tell me the most likely cause first, then one thing to do today and one thing to stop doing. If you cannot tell from the photos, ask me one question instead of guessing."
Model: ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude. All three can read a photo, and it works on a patchy lawn or a veggie bed too.

MAKE HOMEWORK HELP EASIER 📚
Help with homework, even the math you forgot
It is 8pm, the worksheet says fractions, and you were taught them a different way thirty years ago. You want to help without just handing over the answer.
Paste the question in with this:
"My child is [age] and stuck on this homework question: [paste the question]. Explain the idea behind it the way a good teacher would to a [age] year old, using one everyday example. Do not give the answer. End with one small hint question I can ask so they get there on their own."
Model: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Copilot. Snap a photo of the worksheet instead of typing it out.

MAKE BILLS EASIER 🧾
Stop paying for things you never asked for
The phone bill crept up again and nobody knows why. Somewhere in four pages of codes there is a fee you never agreed to, and calling about it feels like a lost afternoon.
A photo or PDF of the bill. Paste this with it attached:
"Here is my [phone, internet, TV, insurance] bill. List every charge that is not the basic plan, in plain words, with the amount. Flag anything that looks like an add on, a promo that ended, or a fee I could ask to remove. Then write a short script I can read on the phone to get those charges taken off. If a charge is unclear, say so instead of guessing."
Model: Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini. All three read a photo or a PDF. Cover your account number before you upload it.

MAKE BIG DECISIONS EASIER ⚖️
Get a straight answer, not a cheerleader
Ask AI if your plan is a good idea and it will usually say yes. Lovely for your mood, less lovely when the plan is quitting a job or buying a used car.
Put this in front of any plan you want a real opinion on:
"Act like a friend who wants me to succeed but will not flatter me. Here is my plan: [the plan]. Skip the compliments. Tell me the three biggest things that could go wrong, how likely each one is, and the one question I should answer before I decide. If the plan is solid, say so in one line."
Model: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Copilot. This one works anywhere.

Rule of thumb: If the answer feels too nice, ask what could go wrong.
